With over 20 years of experience, year-round AGBCS Ltd assesses the importance of buildings and sites to bats; and whether or not bat roosts will be impacted by a proposed development. Further survey work is recommended/undertaken, usually between May and September, when indicated by good practice.
If the proposed work will impact directly on a bat roost, AGBCS Ltd assists clients in planning the necessary mitigation and compensation measures; and in obtaining an appropriate licence from Natural England (NE). On-site support is given during the development.
NE Licences held: CL21 (Annex B), CL18, CL16 plus photographic and specimen licences (bats); CL29 (barn owls).
Beside specialising in bat surveys and mitigation, AGBCS Ltd also undertakes barn owl and breeding bird surveys, and preliminary ecology / biodiversity assessments.
